A rainbow does not stay to long
For everyone to see
So i hurry to the end of it , to whats
Awaiting me
At the end of my rainbow if you
Believe the story true
I would find all the treasure i could
Ever need
Not gold nor jewels --- but you !
I needed not a pot of gold to keep
Me warm when nights are cold
Only true love can see you through
Something gold -- could never do !
So hurry chase ( your ) rainbow
Before it fades away
Do not wait till its to late , on your
Next rainy day or the happiness you
Seek -- may never come your way !
Now each time i see a rainbow
Arched across the velvet skies , i
Think of you and our love thats true
As these colours pass my eyes .....
