God’s Love For Haiti
Haiti, Haiti, I see your sorrow, says the Lord
I will cause the world to help you in one accord
I have placed love in the hearts of many, for thee
When you look at them, you are looking at me.
Nothing happens by chance or without reason,
I created them for this very season.
I know the beginning and the end,
I am God, I love you, I am your friend.
I see your tears, you have touched my heart,
I will give you the strength to make a new start.
I know of your loss, I know of your pain,
I will give you a new day once again.
You have lost those you hold so dear,
Crying out in anguish and fear.
I am God, let it be clear,
Turn your grieving hearts toward me,
I will embrace you sorrow and give
You joyous victory.
Is there anything to hard for me?
Put your trust and faith in me,
I will give you your hearts desire,
The world will stand in awe and admire.
Be of great courage, for I am strong,
Come unto me, where you belong.
Do you realize how much I love you?
I will hold you and carry you thru,
I will restore, you will have a new day,
Once again, your children will play.
Rest in me, I know your grief,
I will bless you beyond belief.
You are mine and I am yours
I am with you, I will bless your shores.
